Job DetailsAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the Manufacturing industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will offer you the chance to work on innovative projects where you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing electrical systems. You will be a part of a collaborative team where your ideas and contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our projects. This position is full-time and permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications, and safety standards.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to execute inspections.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology in order to design competitive products.
- Implement and maintain the Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) in all relevant activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in the use of design and calculation software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, circuit design, and electrical systems design.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, materials, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proven expertise in the creation and interpretation of technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer.
