We have an immediate opportunity for a Principal Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BTP ABAP RAP development to support a strategic Supply Chain Management initiative focused on Warehousing and Distribution. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade RESTful OData services (V2/V4) using the ABAP RAP framework, enabling seamless communication between SAP S/4HANA back-end systems and modern Fiori-based front-end applications. The role involves defining and implementing robust Business Objects using Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementations (BIMP), handling managed or unmanaged transactional scenarios including CRUD operations, validations, determinations, and custom actions.

To be successful in this position, one needs to be highly experienced in architecting advanced data models using ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) with annotations for UI, search, and analytical capabilities to power Fiori Elements applications. The candidate must apply Clean Core principles and ABAP Cloud standards while developing side-by-side or developer extensibility solutions on SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk), ensuring upgrade stability of the S/4HANA digital core. Strong exposure to integration patterns is essential, including asynchronous communication through Business Events within RAP and API consumption across hybrid SAP and non-SAP landscapes. A professional with hands-on experience in RAP along with SAP BTP Integration Suite will be considered ideal for this engagement. Candidates should have over 12 years of relevant experience.
