Summary

Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA

Location: remote

Duration: 6 months

 

Summary

Responsible for administration, reliability, and optimization of Oracle database environments supporting enterprise applications.

 

SKILLS_REQUIRED

•      At least 10 years of experience, including work with 30+ TB databases handling 80,000 transactions per second."

•      Oracle RDBMS (on-prem + OCI/cloud exposure)

•       PL/SQL, query optimization

•       Oracle HA/DR (RAC, Data Guard)

•       Performance diagnostics and tuning"

•       Administer Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c/OCI, etc.)

•       Manage patching, upgrades, and lifecycle operations

•       Ensure availability and resiliency (e.g., RAC, Data Guard where applicable)

•       Perform backup and recovery operations

•       Monitor and optimize database performance and resource utilization

•       Support production releases and deployments

•       Implement security, access controls, and compliance requirements

•       Troubleshoot database issues and support incident response

•       Collaborate with application teams on schema and query optimization
