Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract-to-hire position with a Major Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN.
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level. This role is responsible for the execution of all aspects of requirements delivery, including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management for changes to business areas and technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the banking industry, with specific experience in money movement, checking accounts, and depository accounts, combining both business and systems analyst skills.
Responsibilities: - Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements
- Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
- Analyze and document scope of the business solution and detailed business and system solution requirements
- Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation
- Communicate the impact of changes through cost-benefit analysis
- Support QA in development of the Functional System test cases
- Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues
- Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies
- Develop test conditions to validate business requirements and execute UAT scripts
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in the financial or banking industry
- Specific experience with checking accounts and money movement (ACH, deposits, transfers, bill pay)
- 5+ years of strong business analyst skills in eliciting, gathering, and documenting requirements
- Proven systems analyst skills to create user stories for application development
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Must be a driver of the work with a strong personality
Desired skills: - Familiarity with APIs
- Experience with depository/pass-through accounts
- Knowledge of SQL
