Role Summary
responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data models, pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, analytics, and technology teams to translate business requirements into reliable and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop BI solutions, dashboards, reports, and analytical data products.
Build and maintain dimensional data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data transformations.
Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and ensure consistency across reporting.
Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
Develop dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Establish data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring.
Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, usability, and maintainability.
Implement appropriate data security, access controls, and governance standards.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.
Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and metric definitions.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
3 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational databases.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable BI platforms.
Experience with ETL/ELT technologies and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift,
Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, data warehousing, and semantic modeling.
Experience with Python is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
