About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner closely with our Founder & CEO in driving operational excellence and accelerating company growth. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations, ensuring strategic initiatives are effectively executed while optimizing organizational performance, profitability, and scalability.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with a proven track record of scaling high-growth organizations, building high-performing teams, managing company-wide P&L, and driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee all day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational strategies, policies, and best practices.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Delivery, Finance, and Operations.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and optimize organizational performance.
Ensure operational execution aligns with the company''s long-term strategic objectives.
Financial Leadership
Own company-wide Profit & Loss (P&L) performance and deliver sustainable profitability.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational reporting.
Partner with Sales and Business Development to support revenue growth initiatives.
Optimize operational costs while maintaining product quality, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Strategic Planning & Business Growth
Partner closely with the Founder & CEO to develop and execute strategic business plans.
Translate company vision into measurable operational objectives and execution plans.
Establish organizational KPIs and performance metrics to monitor company success.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation programs.
Identify business risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies while pursuing growth opportunities.
Leadership & Team Development
Build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive organizational effectiveness through talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching.
Promote transparent communication and alignment across all departments.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, strategic partners, and key customers.
Negotiate vendor agreements to maximize quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
Represent the organization in executive meetings, customer engagements, and strategic partnerships as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including experience as a Chief Operating Officer (COO), General Manager, Vice President of Operations, or similar executive leadership role.
Proven success leading operations within a high-growth, startup, manufacturing, industrial, robotics, construction technology, or related environment.
Demonstrated experience managing company-wide P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Strong background in operational excellence, business transformation, and organizational scaling.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Delivery.
Excellent executive leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success implementing KPIs, operational dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience with ERP systems, operational reporting, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
