Summary

We're hiring a VP of Data Engineering & Analytics for a full time fully remote role based in the U.S. at a fast-growing iGaming company operating across online casino and sportsbook products. This company is scaling rapidly in a competitive, data-driven market and is investing heavily in modern data infrastructure, leveraging technologies like Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Python, and AWS to power real-time insights and player analytics.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true player coach leadership role where you'll own the entire data function end-to-end while still staying deeply hands on. The #1 draw here is impact you'll directly influence growth, player retention, fraud prevention, and revenue strategy from day one. They're looking for someone who enjoys building from scratch, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to shape both the technical foundation and the business strategy. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python
Experience building and scaling data pipelines and data warehouses
Background in iGaming, gaming, fintech, or high-volume consumer platforms
Deep understanding of KPIs such as LTV, CAC, retention, and churn
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
Familiarity with real-time data streaming (Kafka or similar)
Fraud detection or risk analytics experience
Prior experience leading small, high-impact teams
Exposure to experimentation frameworks and A/B testing What You Will Be Doing
