Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and Java-based test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Develop scalable and reusable UI automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze automation execution results and identify failures, defects, and environmental issues.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for application and automation failures.
• Log, track, validate, and close defects using tools such as JIRA.
• Participate in code reviews and improve automation framework quality and maintainability.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Maintain test data, test environments, automation documentation, and execution reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming experience with Java.
• Experience developing and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Page Object Model (POM)
  • Data-driven testing
  • Keyword-driven testing
  • TestNG / JUnit
  • Maven / Gradle
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing using REST Assured or Postman is preferred.
• Experience integrating automation with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
