Required Skills
- Strong experience with HL7 FHIR standards and healthcare interoperability.
- Experience in developing FHIR resources, profiles, extensions, and implementation guides.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth2 authentication.
- Proficiency in Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with healthcare integration engines such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or InterSystems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows, EMR/EHR systems, and clinical data exchange.
- Familiarity with SMART on FHIR applications is preferred.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- FHIR or HL7 certification is preferred.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and security standards.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure Health Data Services or AWS HealthLake.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in healthcare interoperability.
- Experience working in payer, provider, or life sciences domains.
