Position Overview:

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to support the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) under the Army G-2. You will lead the development and customization of SharePoint-based intelligence portals across multiple U.S. and multinational networks, including JWICS, SIPRNET, and NIPRNET. This role is critical in synchronizing intelligence content to ensure timely data discovery for Army, joint, and coalition partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Custom Development: Design and implement customized code, web parts, and complex SharePoint workflows.
  • Portal Management: Maintain and update DCD intelligence websites, ensuring content remains relevant to current crisis situations and operational requirements.
  • System Integration: Structure and publish resources on SharePoint platforms, including the DCD home page and various product repositories.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct weekly quality control checks on all links and URLs to identify and replace broken assets.
  • UI/UX Solutions: Provide creative solutions to fully utilize SharePoint's capabilities, including the use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Metadata Standards: Ensure all content is enriched with appropriate metadata in accordance with IC standards (ICD 501/ICS 500-21).

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 8 years of specialized experience in SharePoint Development.
  • SDLC Mastery: Minimum 5 years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle processes (Agile, SCRUM, or Lean).
  • Technical Testing: 5 years of experience in Unit, System, Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Web Technologies: 5 years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Leadership: 5 years of experience mentoring junior personnel on development best practices and procedures.
  • Bug Tracking: Proven ability to document software defects using bug-tracking systems and report them to stakeholders.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance (U.S. Citizen)

Certifications:
  • Current DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01-M) certification - IAT Level II (or higher). Examples Include: CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Cloud+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
