Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the home lending technology group, focusing on mortgage database support and data aggregation from multiple source systems. The role involves engaging with business lines, gathering requirements, and ensuring data is accurately moved and validated for downstream use. This position offers an opportunity to work on ongoing projects, including regulatory reporting and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting with lines of business to gather requirements and perform follow-up activities
  • Working on upfront testing with the line of business
  • Conducting testing with Quality Engineers (QEs)
  • Engaging with technical teams to specify data movement processes for ETL partners
  • Deploying code changes into QA and production environments
  • Performing validation on deployments
  • Ensuring deployment documentation is accurate

Required Skills

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, information management systems, or related field

  • Industry background in finance/banking (not required but a plus)
