Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer for a position based in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves working in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to a mix of software development, modernization, and integration/test activities. The engineer will work independently on assigned tasks within a small team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning sessions.
- Engage in software development, modernization, and integration/test activities.
- Work independently to complete story points in an Agile framework.
- Collaborate within small teams and potentially move between groups based on project needs.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Java
- C++
- Windows Server 2019
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of ActiveMQ or WINE.
- Experience with Command & Control (C2), Mission Management, or satellite ground systems.
- Familiarity with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
