About the RoleWe are seeking a
Lead .NET Software Engineer to join the
Enterprise Services Management organization within the
Technology Exposure Management - Vulnerability Response Engineering team. This team delivers engineering solutions that support enterprise Cyber Security initiatives.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable applications that support Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation within a large enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and ServiceNow development teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices. You will also provide technical leadership, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and support of .NET-based enterprise applications
- Build and enhance ServiceNow-integrated Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation applications
- Partner with architecture, governance, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure solutions
- Apply SOLID, Clean Architecture, and enterprise design principles
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Work with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Document technical designs, code, and processes
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering team members
Minimum Qualifications- 10+ years of .NET development experience on large, complex codebases
- 10+ years of ASP.NET MVC development (Controllers and Views)
- 10+ years of web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
- 10+ years of SQL development experience (complex queries and stored procedures)
- 3+ years of experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of SOLID design principles
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise architectural components (e.g., message queues, distributed caching)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to:
- Gather and translate business requirements
- Document technical solutions
- Explain technical concepts to varied audiences
- Communicate effectively with leadership
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working within the development ecosystem (e.g., Jenkins, UCD, Harness, ServiceNow Change Management, secure SDLC practices)
- 1+ year of experience with OpenShift (OCP)
- 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Clean Architecture principles
- Exposure to Twelve-Factor App principles for cloud-native systems
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
- Experience writing Playwright UI tests
- 1+ year of experience with Blazor
- 3+ years of software development experience in an information security or cyber security environment
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring development teams
- 3+ years of architectural design experience
- Experience with CyberArk APIs and/or Enterprise Password Vault
