Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior/Lead Project Manager to support a growing Risk organization as the team prepares for significant initiatives planned through 2027 and beyond.

Summary:
The ideal candidate is a strong business-focused project manager who excels at organization, stakeholder coordination, task management, and driving execution across multiple workstreams. While some initiatives may have technology or AI-related components, this is not a highly technical PM role. Success in this position will come from strong communication, relationship management, and project delivery skills within a complex, highly regulated environment.

Duties:
* Manage 3-5 concurrent projects and initiatives across multiple Risk programs
* Provide project coordination, task management, status tracking, and execution support
* Partner with stakeholders across multiple lines of business
* Facilitate project planning, governance, scheduling, and reporting activities
* Consolidate information across multiple business lines to provide leadership visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
* Drive project execution using primarily Waterfall methodologies while leveraging strong task management and organizational practices
* Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and action items
* Facilitate meetings, stakeholder discussions, and project governance activities
* Prepare executive-ready communications, project documentation, presentations, and status reporting

Support initiatives related to:
* Risk Management
* Model Risk
* Vendor Change Management
* Complaints Management
* AI-related initiatives
* Issue Management
* Additional regulatory and operational risk programs

REQUIREMENTS:
Required Certifications:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
* Six Sigma Certification

* 7+ years of Project Management experience leading complex business initiatives
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong expertise in project planning, coordination, execution, and governance
* Proven ability to work across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Experience creating executive presentations, dashboards, and status reports

Advanced proficiency with:
* Microsoft Project
* Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft PowerPoint
* Microsoft Word

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting Risk, Compliance, Governance, Audit, or Regulatory programs
* Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated industries
* Exposure to Risk Management, Model Risk, Vendor Risk, Operational Risk, or Issue Management functions
* Experience supporting AI-related business initiatives
* Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex stakeholder landscapes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
