Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP Consultant specializing in WorkZone Advanced Edition and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). This role is critical for building modern, cloud-ready applications that follow SAP’s Clean Core strategy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of OData V4 services and their integration into the BTP ecosystem, ensuring a seamless digital workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Development: Design and deploy applications using SAP RAP (Managed/Unmanaged scenarios), including Behavior Definitions, CDS Views, and Service Bindings.
* Service Creation: Build OData V4 services and integrate them with Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
* Integration: Connect BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, and Destination Services.
* Clean Core: Ensure all coding practices are cloud-ready and align with SAP's extensibility framework.
* DevOps: Utilize gCTS or ABAP Git for version control and transport management.
* Collaboration: Prepare technical design specifications and lead architecture discussions with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8–10 years in SAP development with a focus on BTP.
  * Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP RAP, CDS Annotations, and Metadata Extensions.
  * Security: Familiarity with IAS/IPS (Identity Authentication/Provisioning Services).
  * Technical Stack: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, CPI, and Event Mesh.
