Summary

Position: SAP S/4 HANA Functional Payroll Support Consultant
Location: Roseland, NJ
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM US Payroll professional with strong hands-on configuration expertise and S/4 HANA exposure. This role focuses on post-production support, issue resolution, payroll configuration, and client consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 production support for SAP US Payroll
Perform root cause analysis, configuration updates, and unit testing
Support payroll schemas, rules, time management, and finance postings
Work on S/4 HANA payroll architecture (Fiori, cloud vs. on-prem)
Coordinate with technical teams and Basis after support pack upgrades
Manage client communications and collaborate with ADP/service teams
Prepare functional specifications and change requests

Required Experience:

7+ years of SAP HCM US Payroll configuration experience
Strong knowledge of payroll schemas/rules, time management & finance postings
Experience with S/4 HANA payroll architecture
Understanding of ESS/MSS processes
Strong client-facing and communication skills

Preferred:

SAP HCM Payroll Certification (ERP 6.0)
ECC to S/4 HANA migration experience
Knowledge of ADP integrations and S/4 Financial structures
