Are you a passionate and experienced Project Engineer seeking a new challenge in the construction industry? We are a leading construction company looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing various aspects of our construction projects, from planning to execution, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled professionals and contribute to the successful completion of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and respond to RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs, ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
2. Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination and documentation, ensuring that all project activities are executed as per the project plan.
3. Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities, providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
5. Support jobsite meetings and maintain meeting minutes, ensuring that all project-related discussions and decisions are properly recorded and communicated.
6. Review plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability, identifying any potential issues or challenges and proposing appropriate solutions.
7. Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover, ensuring that all project deliverables are handed over to the client in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
3. Strong knowledge of construction project management, including project scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.
4. Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and design teams.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate jobsite meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
7. Experience in project closeout documentation and turnover.
