Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, ETL development, and cloud data platforms. This role requires onsite presence and an in-person interview.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake

• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, design, and performance tuning

• Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake tasks

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, ADF, DBT, etc.)

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)

• Strong understanding of data modeling (Star & Snowflake schema)

• Experience with data migration from on-prem to Snowflake

• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python or Scala

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines

• Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy domain (Plus)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines

• Perform data modeling and performance tuning

• Work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards

• Support production issues and enhancements
