Oracle EPM EDMCS Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM EDMCS Consultant for an onsite engagement in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), metadata governance, integrations, and Oracle EPM Cloud administration.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure EDMCS applications by identifying and utilizing appropriate EDM adapters.
• Design and manage data chain objects, including Node Types, Hierarchy Sets, Node Sets, and Viewpoints.
• Develop and maintain Maintenance Views and Mapping Viewpoints.
• Configure Node Type Converters and Compares.
• Create queries for metadata analysis and reporting.
• Develop complex derived properties to meet business requirements.
• Configure subscriptions for metadata synchronization and management.
• Implement business constraints, validations, and governance policies.
• Establish and maintain metadata governance frameworks.
• Perform bulk metadata updates through custom scripts and automation.
• Configure users, groups, security roles, and access provisioning.
• Integrate EDMCS with Oracle EPM Cloud and other target systems.
• Automate deployments and administrative processes using EPMAutomate.
• Manage environment synchronization, code migrations, release management, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support metadata governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Oracle EPM experience with strong focus on Oracle EDMCS.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, hierarchy management, and governance processes.
• Experience creating and managing Node Types, Hierarchy Sets, Node Sets, Viewpoints, and Maintenance Views.
• Expertise in subscriptions, derived properties, business validations, and governance workflows.
• Experience with EPMAutomate, environment migrations, and release management.
• Strong knowledge of EDMCS security, user provisioning, and access controls.
• Experience with metadata automation and custom scripting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating EDMCS with FCCS, EPBCS, Planning, ARCS, or other Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
• Experience supporting large enterprise EPM environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud architecture and best practices.
