Job Description

Amazon Global Fleet Product team is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to design and develop automation scripts for Autodesk Revit applications. The role focuses on Python/C# development, Revit API customization, and API-based system integrations to automate Revit workflows and data exchange between applications.

Must Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Python and/or C#

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit API development and customization

• Strong experience with Dynamo (Python Script Node) for Revit automation

• Experience developing commercial / production-grade software applications

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and C# automation scripts integrated with Autodesk Revit backend

• Use Dynamo Python Script nodes to perform CRUD operations and build data-driven workflows

• Customize and enhance existing Revit API scripts

• Integrate Revit data with external systems (cost, BOM, databases) via APIs

• Convert manual Revit processes into fully automated API-driven workflows

• Build test and validation scripts for quality control and acceptance testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain high engineering standards
