What You'll Do:
Design battery electronics systems including voltage, temperature, and current telemetry, cell balancing, communication buses, and safety disconnect systems
Perform circuit design, analysis, simulation, and PCB layout for harsh-environment applications (vibration, shock, thermal cycling, corrosive atmospheres, radiation)
Design measurement, analog signal conditioning, and A/D conversion circuits for battery parameters
Generate and maintain electronics engineering data deliverables (drawings, PCB packages, compliance matrices, FMEAs, test reports)
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design, manufacturing, and test issues
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
Knowledge of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion
Experience working with microcontrollers and serial communications protocols
Experience in schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
Experience in development and maintenance of Engineering and Production documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data analysis, reduction, and presentation
Demonstrated self-starter and schedule-driven
Demonstrated attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information
