Position Summary
Our AdTech Platform/Solutions team powers the core infrastructure that drives Samsung Ads' CTV advertising business. We own the full AdTech/DSP/DMP ecosystem including Campaign Management, Ad Serving, Measurement and Attribution, Audience Platform, Audience Insights, Reporting (Audience and Delivery), Data Cleanroom, and UDW (Universal Data Warehouse built on Snowflake). We actively leverage artificial intelligence to streamline workflows, enhance optimization efforts, and build cutting-edge tools that open new business streams.
As the leader for our AdTech Platform, you will oversee team(s) of software developers across multiple sites responsible for critical products for Samsung Ads. Your role will involve building world-class ads infrastructure and data products, collaborating with other leads across sites, and partnering with senior product and engineering leadership to ensure an effective global product development process.
This position will be based in the Mountain View, CA office, with both domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities
Drive the execution of the Product Solutions Roadmap with 95+% on-time product release
Directly manage the AdTech Platform engineering team with 4-10 engineers in the US
Support and collaborate with the AdTech Platform engineering teams in Bangalore, India, and Warsaw, Poland
Cultivate a world-class engineering culture and best practices across Campaign Management, Ad Serving, Measurement, Audience Platform, and Data infrastructure teams
Evolve our technology to meet business needs and industry standards, including DSP/DMP capabilities, real-time bidding infrastructure, and data warehouse solutions
Collaborate closely with Product Management to facilitate high-impact product delivery across the full advertising lifecycle
Interact effectively with architects, site reliability engineers (SREs), and adjacent engineering and R&D teams to build and sustain high-quality platforms and products
Engage actively with partnering teams in Korea, India, and Poland to remove obstacles and drive successful outcomes in a complex global environment
Maintain strong relationships with product managers and ensure teams understand the importance and business impact of their work
Coordinate across multiple sites worldwide and continuously improve communication and productivity
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
8+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in hiring, leading, and developing engineering teams within the Ads space or closely related sectors
Deep CTV/AdTech domain expertise including DSP/DMP platforms, real-time bidding, ad serving, campaign management, measurement and attribution, audience segmentation, and reporting systems
Experience with data infrastructure including data warehouses (Snowflake preferred), Data Cleanroom technologies, and privacy-compliant data solutions adhering to CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and industry frameworks.
Proven track record in successfully building and launching digital ad platforms and products at scale
Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, geographically distributed engineering teams with a structured and deliberate mindset
Computer Science/Engineering BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Role and ResponsibilitiesPreferred Experience- Experience with CTV advertising platforms and technologies
- DSP platform development experience including bid optimization, pacing algorithms, budget management, and programmatic deal execution (PMP, Programmatic Guaranteed)
- Experience with programmatic infrastructure such as real-time bidding (RTB) systems, supply path optimization (SPO), and SSP/ad exchange integrations
- Familiarity with Audience Platform development, including identity resolution and audience graph technologies
- Background in Measurement and Attribution systems, including multi-touch attribution and incrementality testing
- Experience building or scaling Universal Data Warehouse (UDW) solutions

large-scale, geographically distributed engineering teams and excel at cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, and partner teams across global sites.
This candidate must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and demonstrate a history of implementing innovative solutions that deliver measurable business impact. They will be instrumental in evolving Samsung Ads' AdTech infrastructure to meet growing business demands and industry standards in the competitive CTV advertising landscape.
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $190,000 ~ $245,000 base. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
