Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant | S/4HANA | SAP FICO | RICEF | FSD | FI-AP | GL | Bank Accounting

Introduction:

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong S/4HANA implementation expertise for a high-impact enterprise engagement. The ideal candidate must have deep functional knowledge in SAP FICO, strong experience with end-to-end S/4HANA implementations, RICEF objects, FSD creation, testing, and financial process integration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP FICO functional activities for S/4HANA projects
• Support financial process design, configuration, and implementation
• Manage RICEF deliverables including FSD creation and documentation
• Coordinate with middleware teams for banking/integration interfaces
• Perform testing, defect validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams on mapping documents and integrations
• Support enterprise financial transformation initiatives

Requirements:

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO functional consulting experience
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
• Strong expertise in SAP FI modules:
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Bank Accounting
• Experience with RICEF objects and related lifecycle activities
• Experience creating Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
• Strong experience in testing, validation, and review activities
• Experience handling bank-related interfaces
• Experience coordinating with middleware / integration teams
• Ability to explain FSDs and mapping documents to technical teams
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in complex enterprise multi-system environments

Nice to Have:

• FI-SD Integration experience
• Exposure to AI-enabled SAP solutions / automation initiatives
