Location: 100% Remote
Ideal Candidate: A Healthcare Payer Business Systems Analyst with strong ITS/BlueCard expertise, hands-on data mapping experience, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
Job Summary
Xcelerate Health is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in ITS (Inter-Plan Teleprocessing System), BlueCard, and Data Mapping within the healthcare payer domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, support system integrations, analyze data, and ensure successful delivery of healthcare technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Work with stakeholders, developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver solutions.
- Support ITS/BlueCard processes, claims routing, and healthcare payer workflows.
- Perform source-to-target data mapping and define transformation rules.
- Analyze claims, eligibility, enrollment, and benefits-related data.
- Create business requirements, process flows, and mapping documents.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and production validation activities.
- Identify process improvements and resolve business/system issues.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Hands-on experience with ITS (Inter-Plan Teleprocessing System).
- Strong Data Mapping and systems integration experience.
- Healthcare payer and claims processing experience.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Local to Eagan, MN or able to work in a hybrid environment.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) or BlueCard experience.
- Knowledge of claims adjudication, eligibility, enrollment, and benefits.
- Experience with EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, SQL, Facets, or HealthEdge platforms.
