One of our large financial services clients is looking for a strong Multimedia/UX Designer who will be supporting end to end UX work including research design, and iterative design of existing experiences. As well as working on visual presentations/video editing sometimes when needed.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire
Pay Rate target: 60-65/hr W2 (W2 only - cannot work 1099)
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct UX research to understand how users interact with products and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and redesign user experiences, from early concepts through polished execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in a fast-moving environment with significant autonomy.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, well-structured, visually compelling designs.
Required Skills
- Strong UI/UX design experience with the ability to work independently.
- Figma proficiency is a must.
- Excellent visual design skills and strong aesthetic judgment.
- Ability to create high-quality presentation materials, including polished, design-driven PowerPoint decks (asked to do occasional multimedia design).
Nice-to-Have / Highly Preferred
- Some video production or motion/visual storytelling experience.
- Does not need to be a dedicated video professional but having hands-on experience is highly preferred due to frequent demand.
- General graphic design skills beyond product UI (deck design, visual assets, storytelling).
