Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SQL Administrator for a contract opportunity with UBS in Weehawken, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in FIS ClearVision, Oracle PL/SQL, and Couchbase, along with experience supporting financial trading systems and cleared derivatives operations.

Candidates should have strong production support and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) clearing, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SRE practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support FIS ClearVision and cleared derivatives trading systems.
• Develop, debug, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures and batch processes.
• Manage Couchbase data lifecycle activities, including pruning, archiving, and updating.
• Support multi-exchange gateway operations involving CME, ICE, Eurex, SGX, COMEX, and CBOT.
• Troubleshoot trade processing issues and analyze application and system logs.
• Perform incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Develop shell scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Maintain runbooks, postmortems, and technical documentation.
• Support Kubernetes resources, including Pods, CronJobs, PVCs, Secrets, and ConfigMaps.
• Work with KEDA autoscaling, Helm charts, and Azure Cloud infrastructure as required.
