Job Title: IBM Workload Scheduler
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Technical Competencies:
Workload Automation: Deep expertise in IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS / Tivoli Workload Scheduler). Solid understanding of scheduling objects (prompts, resources, calendars, recovery options).
File Transfer Solutions: Extensive experience administering Progress MOVEit Central / Automation and MOVEit DMZ / Transfer. Knowledge of alternative tools like IBM Sterling Connect:Direct or Axway is a plus.
Security Architecture: Strong grasp of security fundamentals—cryptography, PGP, SSH keys, SSL/TLS certificates, firewall configurations, and DMZ network topology.
OS & Scripting: Strong proficiency in operating systems (Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments) and scripting utilities (Shell scripting, PowerShell).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: 6+ years of hands-on technical experience in enterprise systems administration focusing on Workload Automation and MFT.
