Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale analytics solutions. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end BI initiatives from vision and design through implementation and optimization with a strong focus on Power BI.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in data modeling, visualization, automation, and performance tuning, along with experience implementing AI-driven solutions and intelligent agents to modernize analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• BI Strategy & Leadership
• Define and drive enterprise BI strategy, standards, and best practices
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business objectives into data and analytics solutions
• Lead BI roadmap planning, tool selection, and architectural decisions
• Solution Architecture & Design
• Architect and deliver scalable, high-performance BI solutions using Power BI
• Design robust semantic models, dataflows, and enterprise reporting frameworks
• Establish data modeling standards, governance practices, and reusable design patterns
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture and security standards
• Power BI Development & Optimization
• Lead development of complex dashboards and reports using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M)
• Optimize report performance, dataset design, and query efficiency
• Oversee Power BI Service administration, including workspace management, security, and deployment pipelines
• Implement and manage Power BI Gateway and data refresh strategies
• Automation & Process Improvement
• Drive automation of reporting, analytics workflows, and data processes
• Identify inefficiencies and lead optimization initiatives across BI platforms
• Implement scalable solutions to reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility
• AI & Advanced Analytics
• Lead the design and implementation of AI agents and intelligent automation solutions within BI ecosystems
• Integrate machine learning models and advanced analytics into reporting workflows
• Leverage Power BI AI features and external AI tools to enhance insight generation
• Stakeholder Engagement & Mentorship
• Partner with executives and business leaders to deliver actionable insights
• Present complex data in a clear, compelling manner to non-technical audiences
• Mentor junior analysts and developers; provide technical leadership and code reviews
• Promote self-service BI and train users on Power BI best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles
• Expert-level experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and enterprise deployments
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end BI architectures
• Proven experience leading BI projects and working with senior stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with automation and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI Service administration, governance, and deployment pipelines
• Strong expertise in DAX optimization, star schema design, and large dataset handling
• Experience building or integrating AI agents, copilots, or intelligent automation solutions
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for advanced analytics
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern data stacks
• Background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
