Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business and IT needs. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, integrate ServiceNow with other systems, and provide ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, configuration, customization, scripting, workflows, integrations, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems and applications.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow instances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Keep documentation up to date with changes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and business analysts.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on development and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform features, including modules, workflows, and scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Developer Certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and automation.
- Previous experience working in an enterprise IT environment is a plus.
