Job Description:-

We are looking for a skilled full stack cloud engineer with deep experience in AWS, script, Node, API, Devops, CI/CD, Terraform, serverless computing, Data ETL pipelines, and relational databases.

Experience Level: Senior Level 3

Qualifications (must haves):

• 5 years of experience working on distributed architecture in AWS or another cloud provider
• 5+ years' experience in typescript is required while Golang experience is a bonus
• Comfortable working in existing systems and integrating across systems such as between on premises services and the cloud
• Experience with Terraform or another IaC language is preferred and this person should feel comfortable working in CI/CD pipelines and with infrastructure
• 2+ years' experience in an enterprise organization

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• End to end ownership of the application (typescript/sql) and infrastructure code (terraform).
• Attending all design and product meetings and providing technical insight into implementation.
• Navigating an enterprise organization that requires collaboration across many teams.

These roles have HIGH VISIBILITY due to the project

• The Project spans across multiple business units, directly overseen by three BU heads/ Practice Leads. The CAO for one of these BUs has direct oversight and is being updated daily regarding candidate submission numbers, quality, and interviews

• Unfortunately, due to the hiring freeze, without ability to bring these candidates in, the team is about 2 months behind their deliverables (which are being reported out monthly to the board
• Candidates need to be strong on both technical and soft skills- the interview team is stretched, and they need a resource to hit the ground running
• As discussed in the past, under no circumstances, should the candidates be utilizing Ai to assist during an interview. Please reiterate that expectation to your candidates and ensure that they are aligned

Further Detail:

• Project Type: Global, Tier 1, high-visibility initiative within the insurance industry
• Role Type: New hire (not backfill). Highly reliable engineer, they have architects.
• Work Focus: Primarily hands-on development with some infrastructure exposure

• Full-stack development using TypeScript, SQL, and Terraform
• Participate in design/product meetings and contribute technical insights

• Finance industry exp. not a must have, but a plus. If they worked with applications that do graphing of data, imaging, and data visualization, that's enough.

Interview Process

• Format: Two rounds, including a panel interview

• Architectural experience is not required but considered a plus (not compensated at a higher rate).
• The role leans more toward application development than pure cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Quality and reliability are valued over strict adherence to years of experience.
