Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Task Order Manager) to lead delivery of a multidisciplinary Design Management Task Order supporting Sound Transit Delivery Team. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact responsible for overall task order execution, project governance, financial performance, subcontractor coordination, and client communications throughout the contract lifecycle. The Scope of Work requires monthly coordination with the Sound Transit Design Director, management of subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead overall Task Order execution.

● Serve as primary liaison with Sound Transit.

● Develop and manage project schedules.

● Manage project budgets and financial performance.

● Coordinate Design Managers and subconsultants.

● Prepare monthly invoices and progress reports.

● Manage project accounting activities.

● Lead change management.

● Manage project risks.

● Conduct monthly project management meetings.

● Prepare agendas and meeting summaries.

● Ensure contract compliance.

● Coordinate staffing and resource allocation.

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor''''s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.

● 10+ years managing capital improvement projects.

● Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

● Experience with consultant contract administration.

● Experience managing schedules and budgets.

Β 

Preferred Qualifications

● Transit infrastructure experience.

● PMIS experience (Kahua preferred).

● PMP certification.

● Experience with State of Good Repair (SOGR) programs.
