Job Details

As a Plaintiff Paralegal at our growing firm, you will be required to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Providing comprehensive legal assistance to attorneys, including research, drafting of legal documents, and preparation of pleadings.
2. Managing complex legal documentation with a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
3. Engaging in professional client interaction, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.
4. Handling personal injury cases, assisting in case preparation, gathering evidence, and liaising with relevant parties.
5. Representing plaintiffs in various legal matters, working diligently to protect their rights and interests.
6. Dealing with labor and employment issues, providing advice on employment laws, and assisting in dispute resolution.
7. Coordinating with attorneys, clients, and court personnel, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring smooth case progression.
8. Organizing and maintaining files, tracking deadlines, and managing case schedules.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Paralegal position must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm.
2. Proven experience in legal assistance, legal documentation, client interaction, personal injury, plaintiff representation, and labor and employment.
3. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal qualification.
4. Exceptional knowledge of legal research tools, legal terminology, and document management systems.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
7. High level of professionalism with a strong commitment to client service.
8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with legal software.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
10. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
