Job SummaryThis is a fully in-person summer internship located in Germantown, Maryland. We are seeking a rising junior pursuing a degree in engineering or science discipline. Interns will work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our AI/ML Engineering team and gain hands-on experience with real-world ML workflows, from data preparation through model training, field testing, and deployment.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare and preprocess data for model training
- Investigate anomalies and data quality issues
- Develop and improve data pipelines to support ML workflows
- Execute model training workflows and processes
- Analyze and interpret test results to inform model improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Rising junior, pursuing an Engineering degree or Science degree
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
- Proficiency in Python is required
- Proficency in MATLAB is preferred
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL or Redis is preferred

The salary for this position is $23/hour. This reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting.
