Application Development Analyst LAMP / PHP Full Stack Developer
Hybrid : Tallahassee, Florida
The positions are expected to work in a hybrid environment consisting of both on-site and remote work. Fully remote work may be an option for an exceptional candidate.
Preference will be given to candidate who has the below:
- Experience designing, developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining
- enterprise web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) and modern application frameworks and technologies, including Laravel, Symfony, MVC, Entity Framework, C#, or similar technologies.
- Experience with relational database design, SQL development, and database administration using MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or comparable relational database platforms.
- Experience using source control, version control, and DevOps tools, including GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC).
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, or middle-tier database integration components.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects, ensuring data integrity, implementing application security best practices, and providing functional and technical support.
- Experience developing accessible web applications that comply with WCAG and Section 508 standards
- Experience evaluating, integrating, or developing solutions using artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), generative AI, large language models
- (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent document processing, AI-assisted software development tools, embeddings, vector databases, NoSQL databases, and similar emerging technologies is highly desirable.
Candidates should also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge of application architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, JSON/XML data exchange, and system integration.
- Knowledge of Active Directory or enterprise authentication technologies.
- Knowledge of secure software development principles and cybersecurity best practices.
- Knowledge of relational database design and modern data platforms, including relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AIassisted software development tools, and intelligent document processing.
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and develop effective software solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

The client is seeking Application Development Analysts to assist in the application design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and customer support of the Court Application Processing Systems and Digital Court Recording System, providing data and reports, analyzing the technical feasibility of proposed projects, resolving complex software problems, developing new productivity tools and methodologies, and providing production support. The essential function of the staff contractor(s) within the organization will be to develop and maintain enterprise applications using LAMP stack, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and various database platform integrations. Candidates with knowledge of, or experience with, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will be given preference.
General Characteristics
Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design, and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
Dimensions
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
Complexity: - Intermediate professional level role.
- Develops solutions requiring analysis and research.
- Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area.
- Works on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead. May coach more junior technical staff.
