About the Role:
TEKsystems is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. This is a critical backfill position requiring a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in end-to-end networking, wireless technologies, and Cisco solutions. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working in on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco end-to-end network infrastructure including routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
- Configure and manage Cisco Wireless systems and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Administer and troubleshoot firewalls, with a strong focus on Palo Alto solutions.
- Perform on-premises troubleshooting and resolve complex network issues promptly.
- Collaborate with network architects and team members to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Participate in lift-and-shift projects and network upgrades.
Role Expectations
Full-time, 5 days onsite
Majority of work is centered around Cisco technologies, with some exposure to Palo Alto (limited firewall responsibilities)
Looking for someone who can be guided through processes and support large projects, including acquisitions
Not seeking a deep expert-some experience with the ability to learn quickly is ideal

CCNA or CCNP

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
