Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 10+ Months

Location: MO-St. Louis, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services the company offers to clients. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join the Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.

Responsibilities:

Liaison between business users and technical team in analysis and design

Document, track, and work on functional data requirements seamlessly with minimum supervision

Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems

Plan, organize, and conduct walkthrough with business units and technical team for common understanding across teams of requirements and sign off

Provide technical assistance to peers, mentoring wherever applicable

Work with the ScrumMaster, Product Owners, PMs, and business/data analysts in the team and work with other platform teams, driving issue analysis and resolution, educating peers, and drive the project throughout the SDLC process until execution

Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Self- motivated individual that will dig deep to uncover facts and not rely on assumptions or hearsay

Assertive individual who can push and facilitate requirements discussion with minimum to no level of supervision

Ability to manage requirements and definition of the overall platform, keeping focus on technical requirements for users to be able to successfully use and navigate through the platform on their day to day activities

Basic Financial Services knowledge is sufficient but technical knowledge is a must (e.g. Ability to understand system behavior, interaction and dependencies, Data knowledge etc.)

Flexible, highly adaptable, and excellent team player

Able to work in a global virtual team along with NY and India team members, sometimes across multiple time zones

Self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work under minimal supervision

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000 or the hourly equivalent.
