RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Manhattan Beach, CA that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 6-month contract.
Summary:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support multiple application development initiatives. This individual should be highly proficient in React and Node.js and able to contribute immediately within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and JavaScript
* Build scalable, high-performing front-end functionality with a strong focus on React
* Implement state management, front-end validation, and API integrations
* Review and troubleshoot code to identify performance, quality, and maintainability issues
* Critically review and validate AI-generated code rather than relying solely on automated development tools
* Collaborate with engineering team members across multiple projects
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of software engineering experience preferred
* Solid experience with Node.js
* Strong hands-on expertise with React and JavaScript
* Deep understanding of React fundamentals, including state management and front-end validation
* Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code review skills
* Ability to work independently and contribute with minimal ramp-up
* Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus, but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
