Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, application operations, and container/cloud platforms and a proven ability to deliver reliable software through automation, platform support, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance build, deployment, and release processes across environments.
- Support development, test, pre-production, and production for enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Drive automation to improve efficiency, stability, scalability, and compliance.
- Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.
- Operate and optimize CI/CD and release orchestration using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and XLR.
- Support OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS services, and secrets management via HashiCorp Vault.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in Application Support, DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
- Hands-on CI/CD with Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and release orchestration such as XLR.
- Experience supporting Java/J2EE applications in large-scale environments.
- Containerization and orchestration with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of AWS and related infrastructure services.
- Configuration management and automation with Ansible Tower.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across full stack layers.
- Experience with mission-critical systems in regulated environments focused on stability, security, and operations.
- Familiarity with software supply chain security, vulnerability remediation, certificate management, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Strong verbal and written communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial services environments.
- Knowledge of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.
- Exposure to observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
- Exposure to AI-driven operational automation and process optimization.
- Experience leading initiatives, mentoring, and driving continuous improvement.
Additional Details:
- Start month: September or October. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. Video interview required. Glider ID verification required. Maximum 3 submissions per vendor.
