**Overview:**
Our organization seeks an experienced developer to support and enhance our JDE World ERP environment (version 7.3) operating on the IBM AS/400 platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming with RPG and COBOL languages and demonstrated experience working within the JDE World ecosystem.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop, modify, and maintain programs within the JDE World system (v7.3) on AS/400 (IBM iSeries).
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions using RPG and COBOL.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing JDE World functionalities.
- Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and ongoing support of the ERP environment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
**Requirements:**
- Proven hands-on development experience in JDE World (preferably version 7.3 or similar).
- Proficient in RPG (III, IV, or Free) and COBOL programming on AS/400.
- Familiarity with IBM iSeries system operations and utilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with JDE World system upgrades, migrations, or integrations.
- Knowledge of DB2/400 and CL programming.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise clients or major organizations.
