Description
Client is looking for a technician to join their Desktop Support team of 7 individuals on site in Anderson, SC. They will be supporting roughly 1,000 to 2,000 users in an office environment.
Ideally this person will have 2-3+ years of experience troubleshooting devices and have experience working in a corporate environment on a help desk team building computers, imaging computers, troubleshooting, setups, and phone support. They will be assisting with any PC support or end user needs. This is a corporate location, so the candidate will need to have good communication and soft skills (good with communication and professionalism, self-sufficient, responsible).
While this role is located in Anderson, there will be times where they may need to support a project in their Greer location as well. Candidates must be okay with working at the Greer location as needed.
These roles will start out as pure contracts, but candidates will have the opportunity to apply for a full time role and convert after 6 months. Conversion salary would be approximately 50k
Skills:
- Most important: Mac Troubleshooting - Hardware/Software experience
- Enterprise environment experience 2-5 years in a corporate setting for an enterprise level company supporting around the same amount of end users: 1,000 to 2,000 +)
- Deskside Support & Help Desk (50% of each)
2+ years of experience - A+ is preferred but not required, computer science degree is also nice to have but not required.
