We have an immediate opportunity for a Technology Architect specializing in Data Management and Data Architecture to support enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives in Westwood, MA. This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, modern data architecture solutions with a strong emphasis on canonical data modeling, semantic data mesh principles, and real-time streaming architectures using Kafka. The selected candidate will play a key role in enabling high-quality, governed, and interoperable data across business domains, supporting both analytics and operational use cases. Responsibilities include defining enterprise data models, aligning data architecture with business capabilities, and driving adoption of domain-driven design and data contracts across the organization.
To be successful in this position, one needs to be a seasoned data architect with over 10 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in canonical data modeling, semantic modeling, and implementing data mesh frameworks, along with strong hands-on experience in designing and deploying real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka. The role requires the ability to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with enterprise strategy, ensure interoperability across domains, and establish scalable data architecture patterns. Strong stakeholder collaboration skills and the ability to drive alignment across distributed teams are essential for success.
