Senior ServiceNow Developer (Modernization, Automation & AI)

What you'll achieve:

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will lead high-impact initiatives, owning end-to-end architecture and guiding complex integration strategies. You will prototype solutions, validate patterns, and ensure non-functional requirements are met at scale.

Responsibilities

You will:
  • Lead ServiceNow platform modernization by migrating global and legacy applications to scoped, upgrade-safe solutions while reducing technical debt and improving performance
  • Modernize workflows by converting Legacy Workflows to Flow Designer and establishing reusable automation patterns using Flows, Subflows, Actions, and event-driven architecture
  • Drive AI-assisted development through Now Assist, Build Agent, and other AI capabilities, while governing AI-generated code and defining responsible AI best practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications using App Engine, UI Builder, Workspaces, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and reusable platform components
  • Deliver engineering excellence through enterprise integrations, CI/CD, source control, automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and technical standards/documentation

Essential Requirements
  • 12+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including at least 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development and architecture experience
  • Proven experience modernizing ServiceNow platforms, including migrating Global Applications to Scoped Applications and converting Legacy Workflows to Flow Designer
  • Strong expertise in App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, Workspace development, and JavaScript/ServiceNow scripting
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, MID Server, Import Sets, and IntegrationHub
  • Deep understanding of AI-assisted development (Now Assist, Build Agent), upgrade-safe development practices, platform governance, and ServiceNow engineering best practices

Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and relevant CIS certifications, with experience in large-scale ServiceNow modernization, ATF/CI/CD/Git/DevOps practices, ITSM/ITOM/ITAM/SPM/HRSD/CSM/SecOps implementations, and driving AI-assisted development adoption
