Summary
Sales Director:
Location: USA - New Jersey - Hybrid
Full Time
The Sales Director will lead the growth net new business and new pipeline. Requires deep understanding of market
and competition to develop appropriate winning sales strategies and apply the sales and solution expertise, in
conjunction with project teams.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales team, solution architects, delivery managers, and
operations teams, to develop /customize solutions that meet client requirements and expectations.
Lead the negotiation of contract terms and conditions, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and
the client while mitigating risks.
Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract closure and post-sale followup,
ensuring a seamless transition to the implementation phase.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay
ahead of industry trends.
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's
visibility and expand the client base.
Utilize expertise in a specific vertical such as Banking, Retail to provide industry-specific insights and
solutions.
Qualification and Experience:
Master s Degree and 15+ years of experience with strong sales experience in IT services
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services
Proven Sales Leadership experience achieving/overachieving sales targets.
Previous experience as a Sales Director or experience in a Senior Sales role.
Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organization.
Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and deal closure experience.
Understanding of ecommerce platforms like ATG, Broadleaf, VTEX, Commerce tools etc
Well, networked within the IT services industry, retail services and BFSI vertical
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Keenness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
