Role

Corporate Functions Delivery builds, maintains, and modernizes the technology powering Clients back-office and finance-adjacent operations - including Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Compliance, and HR-supporting systems such as FDM, DNA, Bancware, PeopleSoft, Concur, OneStream, and Tax Documents API. We own both KTLO work (security patching, certificate/credential management, disaster recovery testing) and Small Enhancement delivery (new integrations, upgrades, automation), sitting at the intersection of finance, compliance, and engineering.

Job Summary

The Sr Software Developer designs, develops, and enhances complex technology solutions across software, data, infrastructure, and operational domains, driving high-impact initiatives through technical planning, automation, and system optimization while ensuring quality, security, and compliance standards. The role partners closely with architects, product owners, and business/finance stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance technology solutions across software, data, infrastructure, and operations, delivering complex work independently as a technical lead accountable for quality and outcomes.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts, automation, integrations, and software components - including SSIS packages, Python tooling, and CI/CD pipelines - and support Infrastructure-as-Code practices (e.g., Bicep) for provisioning databases and services.
• Investigate and resolve complex, high-impact application, infrastructure, and data issues through root cause analysis, including technical discovery/spike work on ambiguous problems (e.g., API authentication, multi-environment architecture, DAST strategy).
• Own security and compliance hygiene for assigned applications: certificate/credential lifecycle management, encrypted database connections, and completion of Cybersecurity Risk Assessments (CSRAs).
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to testing, deployment, and CI/CD pipeline design to optimize release quality and reliability.
• Partner with the team to leverage approved AI tools for productivity and automation, adhering to governance and security requirements.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams (Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Compliance, DNA) to plan, estimate, and deliver initiatives; proactively communicate progress, risks, and issues.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers and conduct technical reviews of designs, code, and configurations to promote quality and consistency.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and security risks; drive reliability and operational maturity improvements through analysis of system behavior and metrics.
• Participate in on-call support rotations to provide 24x7 coverage as needed; perform additional duties as assigned.

5+ years of relevant experience in software development, data engineering, infrastructure, or related discipline.

Must have experience in Azure/AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Demonstrated expertise in modern programming languages, cloud platforms, automation tools, or data technologies; proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) required.

Must have experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and deployment practices preferred.

Applied knowledge of information security principles, secure development practices, and risk management required.

Proven ability to resolve high-impact technical issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement systemic solutions.

Prefer: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.

Prefer: Azure DevOps pipeline engineering, release branching, and change control; Bicep/Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
