Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Lead to lead the testing function for a large-scale insurance transformation initiative. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who can define testing strategy while actively building and executing the framework that supports program delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in quality assurance, test automation, and transformation programs, with the ability to operate effectively within a lean team environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building testing capabilities from the ground up and partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA function across a large-scale insurance transformation or migration program, defining and executing the overall testing strategy and approach.
• Design, build, implement, and execute testing frameworks, processes, and governance models using Selenium and other modern automation tools.
• Lead all phases of testing, including:
  • Test planning and design
  • Environment setup
  • Test execution
  • Defect management
  • Reporting and quality assurance activities
• Work hands-on within a lean team environment, contributing directly to testing delivery while mentoring team members and guiding stakeholders.
• Balance and optimize manual and automated testing approaches to support business-critical delivery objectives.
• Establish QA best practices, testing standards, and governance processes across the program.
• Collaborate closely with business, product, and technology teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading and performing QA and testing activities within complex transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience defining testing strategy and executing:
  • Test design
  • Framework development
  • Environment setup
  • Test execution
• Strong experience building and scaling automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
• Experience with automation tools such as:
  • Playwright
  • Cypress
  • Tosca
  • UFT
  • TestComplete
• Experience working within small, agile teams where individuals perform multiple roles to drive delivery.
• Deep understanding of both automated and manual testing methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Group Insurance or Worksite Insurance environments.
• Experience in Life Insurance.
• Experience with the FAST Platform.
• Experience establishing and building QA functions within large transformation programs.
• Background supporting enterprise-scale modernization, migration, or digital transformation initiatives.
