Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex technology and business transformation initiatives within the financial services domain. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with deep understanding of banking, financial systems, regulatory requirements, and enterprise technology platforms. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, drive delivery excellence, coordinate with business stakeholders, and ensure successful execution of financial technology programs.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Support audit requirements, documentation standards, and governance processes.
• Manage change control processes and ensure proper approval workflows.

Required Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience managing enterprise technology projects.
• Strong financial services or banking domain experience.
• Experience delivering projects involving:
• Banking applications
• Financial platforms
• Payments
• Data platforms
• Regulatory systems
• Cloud transformation
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience managing Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including:
• Developers
• Architects
• QA teams
• Business analysts
• Infrastructure teams
• Security teams
• Strong knowledge of project management tools:
• Jira
• Confluence
• MS Project
• Smartsheet

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP preferred.
• Experience working in banking, insurance, fintech, or capital markets.
• Experience managing cloud transformation programs (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with data migration and enterprise application modernization.
• Experience managing regulatory and compliance-driven projects.
• Experience with executive-level reporting and portfolio management.
