Title : Linux Admin (W2)
Location : Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Duration : 12+ Months
Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 10+
Rate: $68/hr on W2
Job Description:
· Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
· Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
· Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
· Ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
· Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems and system components.
· Troubleshoot system, network, filesystem, and application issues.
· Manage user access, file systems, permissions, and security policies.
· Work closely with application, database, network, and cloud teams.
· Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting and Python.
· Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
· Required Skills:
· Must have 15+ years of experience
· Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
· Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure,Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace)
· VMware/Virtualization technologies
· Infrastructure security and endpoint management toosl
· Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Solarwinds, crowdstrie, Tanium etc)
· Active directory and enterprise identity management is a plus
· Scripting/automation using Bash, poweshell, Python, Perl
· Strong troubleshooting skis across OS, network, application and infrastructure layers
