Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a Contract basis in Havertown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical assistance to students and staff, ensuring efficient operation of devices and systems. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with users in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:
Deliver first-level technical support by troubleshooting and resolving issues with devices used by students and staff.
Provide assistance with Apple laptops for staff and Chromebooks for students, addressing hardware and software concerns.
Respond to support requests in person, including desk-side assistance and classroom visits as needed.
Maintain and manage workstation setups and configurations to ensure functionality.
Communicate effectively with users to diagnose problems and provide clear solutions.
Track and document support requests to ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
Collaborate with other technical staff to implement and improve support processes.
Educate users on best practices for device usage and maintenance.
Ensure all devices are updated and running efficiently to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Proficiency in managing PC desktops and workstations, including setup and troubleshooting.
Experience working with Chromebooks and familiarity with their operating systems.
Knowledge of Mac OS and ability to support Apple laptops effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear technical guidance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and staff.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably in an educational setting.
