Developer IV

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Developer / AI Agentic Engineer to establish a new core competency in agentic AI systems. This is a newly created role focused on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI agents while supporting complex enterprise applications. This role in hybrid, onsite in Columbia, SC 3 days/week.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement complex enterprise applications and AI-driven solutions

• Design and deploy agentic AI systems, from concept through production

• Build reusable AI frameworks and accelerators to support future use cases

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions

• Lead or provide technical expertise on complex projects and system enhancements

• Perform debugging, testing, documentation, and post-implementation support

• Research and evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and architectures

Required Skills & Experience

• Application development or systems testing experience

• Hands-on experience in AI, ML, or Generative AI development

• Strong Python development experience for AI/ML solutions

• Proven experience delivering Generative AI solutions into production

• Experience with:

  • Agentic AI concepts (reasoning, planning, tool use, autonomous systems)

  • AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents, Claude Skills, etc.)

  • LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, or similar)

  • Prompt engineering, RAG, and API design

  • Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• FastAPI or Flask, SQL

• Experience with MCP, AutoGen, embeddings, and knowledge stores

• Reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or multi-agent systems

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
