RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer II in Boca Raton, FL.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new product features and enhancements for a high-volume regulatory compliance application
* Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications with a focus on performance and stability
* Research, design, and perform software development tasks within assigned business or product areas
* Resolve complex technical issues as necessary
* Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
* Provide input into project plans, schedules, and development methodologies
* Collaborate effectively with developers and cross-functional team members
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced development environment
* Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
* 1+ years of Software Engineering experience
* Experience with Web 2.0 application development
* Experience with C# and .NET MVC
* Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap
* Basic SQL knowledge, including MySQL and SQL Server
* Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper
* Good understanding of MVC software architecture
* Basic knowledge of software development methodologies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Fast learner who can quickly adapt to changing requirements
* Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment
* Motivated to learn and grow professionally
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
